To encash the opportunity, Google, the search giant has introduced a new ad unit for mobile phones featuring a full HTML browser allowing publishers to display specific ads targeted at Smartphones.
According to the company, the new Smartphones feature full (HTML) Internet browsers, like Apple’s iPhone and devices running on Android operating system, therefore advertisers are increasingly expanding their campaigns to Smartphones.
Also, the company introduces new feature for AdSense mobile publishers, which offers them the ability to display largerAdSense ads visible on high-end phones. Before this application, they were only capable of displaying smaller text and image ads on their website content.
The new advertisements are specifically designed for mobile phones on a new JavaScript snippet, which will allow the publishers to choose from several sizes from the AdSense formats.
